Flower visitor (preferably wild carrot) in our garden (Eifel, West Germany) on September 14th, 2021. Is a more precise identification possible? I'm grateful for your help.

The short answer is “yes”

It is a female Leopoldius (s.l.).

The large black clamb should be a big help for the experts.

Maybe this additional image (though of limited quality) offering a frontal view can be of help.

Can we give this Conopidae specimen another try for (possibly) further details?
