Found in a puddle today.
Possible id ?
3,5 mm - Cuise-La-Motte (Northen France).

Orthocladiinae. If the wings are hairy, it might well be Metriocnemus

If you need a species name, I'll have a look, but I think French Chironomidae may be a bit too much for me! :D

Oh, only 600 species, not too much for you:D.

Orthocladiinae is good for me, I don't really need species.
