Yeah , they look very black, seems like mid one has some brownish dusting towards the base tho.

They look black but I don't buy it: the specimen is much too grey for aterrima.
I think this is H. borealis, it should have indistinct greyish markings on tergites.

Thanks. It is definitely NOT aterrima and it is not kaurii either, so borealis should be OK. Nice find !
