The fly in the image appears to be Amiota alboguttata but there is no pale band on the face and at the front of the frons or on the postpronotum. Everything else fits, including the short ventral rays of the arista. So I guess this is an abberrant A. alboguttata. There do not appear to be any Amiota species that are normally all black with no pale markings. Is that correct?

Any comments? Has anyone else found this?
