Hi, these are my most abundant flies (females - not a single male) these days and I wonder, if it's Thricops simplex.
Ansbach, DE-Franconia, close to Frankenhoehe Nature Park, old deciduous forest, mid October 2021.

August-Septembe in Russia, Septembe-October in W. Europe is the season of Th. simplex!
