I think I am OK with A. loewianus, female, but would welcome more experienced opinions. Photographed yesterday on Wild Carrot Daucus carota. Central lowland France (Indre et Loire/Sud Touraine/Loire Valley).

Difficult to be sure, from this one angle (I’d liked a better view on the antenna), but from what I can see, you might very well be right !

Thanks Theo. I've only ever recorded A. loewianus from this area, although I see A. fulvus sometimes gets recorded by others. I only have 3 very similar photos of the beast, so probably no help. No specimen because I was participating in a group social walk, not out for insects, so this is just an opportunistic shot as I passed.
