Hello,
Observed on Heracleum sphondylium inflorescence the august 13th. 1°Two dc are present on the scutum 2°The ventral face of the front femur with bristles or spikes 3° The aspect of the front tibia 4° The whitish spot above the median leg. These 4 criteria suggest that it would be Sepsis fulgens. Are you in agreement with my opinion ? All my thanks for your response. Sincerely yours, Jean-Michel Garel.

Hi Jean-Michel,
The shape of the front tibia, with the dark spines group ventrally is typical for Sepsis thoracica.
Greetings,
Ectemnius
