Thread subject: Diptera.info :: small atypical Tachinid - Strongygaster?

Hi,
Yesterday I saw this small grey fly feeding on Bupleurum falcatum. Petiolate wing and big calypters make it a Tachinid, but the antennae are rather small. Phasiinae do not fit, so my only idea is Strongygaster globula. Can this be confirmed, or are there better suggestions?
Locality is southwestern Germany, 50 km west of Stuttgart.
Many thanks, Sundew

The lateral shot is poor quality but shows nicely the yellow palps.

Totally correct. The wing venation is highly characteristic for the genus. Much more common in the east (Poland, Russia)
