Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Diptera on Sticky Trap

Hey,

i am currently trying to identify the insect families I have found on sticky traps. Maybe someone here can help me out with this one. I think its a diptera, sorry if not.

Picture was taken in May in Potsdam, Germany. Size is about 4-5 mm.

Diptera indeed, but I hope you can provice a better picture because it will be hard to give a definite ID (even to family level).

I am reminded of Medetera (Doloichopodidae), but as Paul says, it's difficult to even be sure of the family without a clearer picture.
