Ok, thanks Theo!

Not sure I can see difference in posterior tergite on Steven Falk's photos for the two Melinda sp in UK, so unsure which one that might be.

But... he does mention that they can also be distinguished by the pre-sutural supra-alar bristles ....
( present in M.gentilis and absent in M.viridicyanea.)
I thought they were visible in the first photo....but not so sure now - maybe I am mixing it up with notopleural setae(?)
Palps also appear dark, so perhaps this is M.viridicyanea?
