This fly was sitting on a tomato plant in my small green house. Date is 13.06.2021, location is near Heidelberg in Germany.

The female of Chrysopilus sp from the group containing nubecula, laeta, luteola and pullus. The third antennal segement is darker than the two first, which should narrow this down to nubecula and laeta. Since the legs are not entirely yellow, this is likely to be laetus/laeta. Let us see what Theo will say.

I agree. If it is an European species (always an if in greenhouses), it must be laetus female.
The species is generally more orange that yellow, as shown in the picture.

Laetus (or laetus-like) specimens are more often found in greenhouses (to be published next month in Entomologische Berichten, Amsterdam).
