Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Choerades loewi from Rhodes

Dear Forum!
I photographed these flies between 18-05-2021 and 30-05-2021, about 2km east of Profitis Ilias. I think they are Choerades loewi. (I had a hard time with this name, because Engel's paper refers to it as Laphria dimidiata, presently a valid name for an Indian spesies B) )

Greetings,
Henrik

Females:

(First in copula)

Dear Reinoud,
I sent you a private message, I hope it will reach you (something is not working quite well in my account)

Greetings,

Henrik

Dear Danny,

I did... However good timing seems important, and June may be late!
