No, nomenclature is more problematic. There has been a big change in the 80th.

Former P. gallicus is now P. dominulus
Former P. foederatus is now P. gallicus

Both are similar in color etc, but gallicus is more slender. It occurs only in the mediterranean area, whereas dominulus also reaches Central Europe. I am not really sure with my diagnosis, because dominulus is also possible, but some details on the head of the males are more typical for gallicus.
