Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Common assasin fly

This assasin fly is very common in Voronezh region (Russia) and very frequently visits crops. This time it sat on the ear of winter triticale plant (a hybrid between rye and wheat). The picture was taken in June this year. I think this is Pamponerus germanicus. Am I right? Please, help to ID it.
