Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Dixa larvae

Hello,
I found this Dixa larvae in south of France. It is very similar to D. nebulosa (habitus, five bristlle crowns on tergits, terminal lobes and head color). Is it sufficient to deduce that it is indeed Dixa nebulosa ?

This larva was found in a temporary mediterranean stream, if can help...

hi Bruno, Ik agree with nebulosa, 3 ventral pads, 5 crowns and yellowish posterior paddles only fits with nebulosa
