Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Bibionidae, Dilophus febrilis from Romania

Hi,

another fly collected near Sibiu (Transilvania).
checking thru the gallery the only similar is Dilophus.
26.september.2007, ~6mm
something more can be said?

i will add also one image of the first tibiae, maybe is usefull.

Correct, Dilophus.

The black abdomen and strongly infuscated wings in female sex (this is a female) lead to D. febrilis. The most common species.

thanks, i hope that this become better after i will buy one external flash.
i'm trying, there are many more but i don't want here to be only my posts :D
so i just try ti keep in a couple of post on a week, or something.
