Solved to the generic level - Periscelis. Can anybody send me Duda O. 1934: Periscelidae. In Lindner E. (ed.): Die Fliegen der palaearktischen Region, 6/1, 58a, E. Nägele, Stuttgar, pp. 1-13. ???

Hi libor,
Why would you want Duda 1934 to identify this species?
The genus is indeed Periscelis s.s. because vein dm-cu is absent. It is present in the other genus in Periscelididae: Myodris. And because that vein is absent this must be either P. annulipes or P. nigra, very nice find!
For identification you should use:

(If you'd still want Duda 1934 send me a pm)
Kind regards,
Ectemnius

Hi Ectemnius, thanks. I have identified it according to Rohacek and Andrade as P. annulipes. I have asked for Duda to see which distribution he is showing. According to Fauna Europaea, my P. annulipes are the first records for Russia...

Hi libor,
Then I can report the following:
Duda 1934 reports the species from Silesia & Hungaria. Specifically: 1♀, Körösmezö, 24.IV.1911; 1♂, 1♀, Breslau; 1♀, Nimptsch (Schlesien). I think the Körösmezö is actually Yasinya in Ukraine. Papp & Withers 2011 agree and list P. annulipes from Poland, Ukraine, Finland and France.
Their paper is found here:

And yes: New for Russia! :D |t
Kind regards,
