It keys to simplex using Fonseca's RES Handbook except the face is white and the basal segment of the middle tarsus (arrowed) looks more yellow than brown.

Compared to the figures in Faune de France, the shape of the genital lamella is a better fit to caligatus.

It was collected 18 July 2018 from wet pasture, Caeau Pen-y-clip nature reserve near Menai Bridge, North Wales.
