Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tachinidae, Netherlands, Beuningen, April -> Oswaldia muscaria

I found this Tachinidae in a yellow pan trap in April 2020. I tried to key it with Tschornig, but I get stuck at species which are not correct. Which genus or species could this be? I can add additional images if necessary.

It is a Blondeliini. Oswaldia ?

Thank you for your reply. I keyed it again with Tschornig. I went wrong with the shape of the calyptra, the outer edge should not be convex for Blondeliini. It now keys to Oswaldia muscaria.

That feature is very difficult to understand if you have never seen and completely obvious when you have.
Rest assured that Ethylini (those with the weird calypter) are very rare in lowland temperature Europe, so you can fill in β€œno”. for β€œall”. cases πŸ˜‹
