It looks like a very possible ID; the species has been registered in several localities in the western part of our country where soils are sandy and acidic, and it may even be rather common. However, a further eight other species of Hercostomus have been recorded here - chrysozygos, fulvicaudis, germanus, gracilis, nanus, praeceps, sahlbergi and vivax - and I do not know how distinct nigripennis may be.
