Hello,
I photographed this larva in Bazzano (AQ), Italy, on May 2nd 2020 on a
Rosa sp. I think it is a Syrphidae, but is it possible to identify the genus or species from these photos?

Hi Emanuele, it's an Epistrophe - see the very long and pale breathing tubes.
