Hello,
A
Gymnosoma sp. found in North of France, at Cassel, the 12 July 2020, feeding on white flowers along a path, near a cow pasture
Is it possible to tell which species it could be with these pictures ? Even if I understand correctly
Gymnosoma could be one unique species where I live (?)

Hi, I think it could be a female G. nudifrons.
Greetings, Eric

It is very small, hence it would key out as G. costatum. However, our recent DNA work has shown that at least some ‘costatum’ females are simple dwarf nudifrons. so Eric might be spot on !
