This
Cylindromyia was photographed on a
Calluna heathland in eastern Niedersachsen, Germany.
I tried to use the key of Tschorsnig & Herting (2005) with these photos, but I'm not sure about the outcome...
best regards,
Jann

Hi Jann, from what I can see, it's C. brassicaria.
Greetings, Eric

The key is great, but not suitable for picctures.
This is the male of C. brassicaria, which had a strong influx from the south in 2019 and again (or it stayed ?) in 2020.
