hi flyforum,
Yesterday I found this little yellowish fly on treebark in the Amsterdam Forest.
Looking in the diptera gallery, it matched quite with Meiosimyza rorida.
But there must be more candidates ;)

Impossible to say for certain without a view of the inner side of the fore femur, where
rorida should have a row of short setulae.

Why are these nice littel flies so difficult :(:(:(
Is it to provoke people like me? :o
Never give up ;) and give it a try ;) We'll find these row of short setulae !
(or not and rest with it)
Thank you Paul for the reaction
p.s.: It is certainly Meiosimyza spec., isn't it?
