Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Medetera....

Medetera truncorum or Medetera jacula? They seem to be very similar. Taken some two weeks ago in Warsaw on the wall. The prey is probably a small phorid (Megaselia?)

I think Medetera truncorum.
Did you observ the hole episode - Phorid was finally swallowed or released?

Defnitely M. jacula-group, not M. truncorum.
