6,7 mm.

This one reminds me of Platymya fimbrata but the bristles on the scutellum are different.

It is a candidate Paratryphera.
Can you check if the calypter is 'balloonish"?
Or the barrette hairy ?

Thank you! Unfortunately, it seems that a large part of the August insect collection has been lost because of mildew... :| Probably need to look at these under a microscope
