Hi,
This Phoridae is large around 6 mm and is characterized by 2 tergites with black on lateral sides. Moreover, a white and long arista is noted. In most cases of Phalacrotophora, 3 fully black tergites are seen. This specimen was observed on november 3rd in Burgondy (North of Yonne department. Do you think that this specimen belong to the Phalacrotophora genus ? Many thanks for your help. Sincerely yours, Jean-Michel Garel.

I think Renko is right. Phalacrotophora usually shows more clear orange and some black.
