Hello everybody,

could this be a Bibio varipes male and a female?

Seen in Germany, Baden-Württemberg, Swiss border, near Waldshut, about 10-15mm, 28.04.2012

The male is venosus !

And the female is not !

Females are very diffcicult. zdo a froum search to find the discussion on this topic. I’d say this might be johannis.
