Hi Dror, unfortunately only a guess based on abdominal bristles and wing venation: Tachinidae? I'm sure, the experts could get much closer.

That was also my first guess, but for example Rhinophoridae: Stevenia is very similar.

You are right - it's very similar. But as far as I know, Stevenia doesn't have red antenna ore red legs. I know only Tricogena with partly red antenna but is has very different veins.

Kugler (1978) reviewed the Israelian Rhinophoridae. This is Stevenia kugleri.
