Hello!

on Aug. 21st this year (location Germany, NRW) I found strange looking flies sitting on a polypore on a damaged supposed gray poplar. Actually two different kinds of flies, one with a yellow body and the one in question. I think the yellow one is Agathomyia wankowiczii. If not you are welcome to correct :-)

Anyways: I have a video (jump to time index 1:47 - no title yet) which you can watch here:
YouTube Video

if the Youtube Video (I can't view it in my browser) can not be played please use this URL:
https://youtu.be/...

the fly has red eyes and big black and white stripes on its body as well as stripes on its wings. I have been searching the internet for about 8 hours but I could not really find the appropiate species. The closest one I found was in the gallery here on Diptera which would be Tritaeniopteron tetraspilotum but I think the texture is still different. Anyone knows which species it actually is?

I have also atttached some screenshots (also URL)

The ones with marked wings are Myennis octopunctata (Ulidiidae), the yellow ones are Drosophilidae.
