Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Calliopum ? (simillimum??)

Hello flyforum,
Today I found this rather fat fly with nicely colourbanded eyes.
I think it is a Lauxaniidae sp. and it looks like Calliopum (simillimum?)
Can anyone tell me if this is right?
place: Amsterdam Forest
size: ~5-6mm

And one other fly some further on..
I think they are the same species.

Since they are different specimens I won't comment on the second one: both species occur simultaneously. Based on what I can make out o the genitalia of the top specimen I'd say
Calliopum cf.
simillimum but the details are not sufficient to completely exclude
aeneum.

So the first specimen is a male Calliopum?
I'll call these Calliopum sp., next time I try to make some better detailed picture of the genitalia

No, it is a female, but for those two species female terminalia are also characteristic.
