Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Another tiny midge: Sciaridae? --> Scatopsidae

Hello!

This one looks quite different from the many other Sciaridae around now (garden, Ostwestfalen/Germany). Or is it another family? Length about 2-2.5 mm.

Ahh..., yes. Looks very similar to the Scatopsidae in the gallery. I simply didn't think of that family. ;)

Yes, a Scatopsidae, more precisely Apiloscatopse.
