Any ideas on this picture wing fly ?- Taken yesterday South Coast UK. About 5mm body length.

Thanks Jorge - Assume you are not certain. I did look in the gallery but there seemed to be several different families with similar wing patterns.

Hi Brian,

It's not an Oxyna, but rather a Tephritis.
It's difficult to tell the species, but it's somewhere in the vicinity of T. leontodontis. Have you got any other pictures?
