Hi all,

on 16.06.2020 I found this fly near a lake in Berlin (Germany), sitting on Iris pseudoacorus leaf. I think it is a Sepsidae species but I do not dare to identify it further. Can you help me?

Thanks for any help in advance!

Best, Adrian

Here is another view, slightly from the side, where the extent of the orange/red region on the abdomen is better visible.

Hello,

I think, this is Sepsis punctum.
