Hello
Today I took photos of an unkwown fly. I didn't have idea of the family, but after a few search, I think it is a Psilidae. I find it very close to
Chyliza leptogaster. But since I don't know much about this family, is it possible to confirm th ID ?
Thank you in advance.:)
Found in a wasteland around a small wood and the city.
Rosny-Sous-Bois, Seine-Saint-Denis, Île-de-France, France.
8th of June 2020
Length : around 6-7 mm ?

Thank you for your answer, Darwyn.
With that key, I think it's either
C. leptogaster or
C. nova, but I think it's difficult to say more with my pictures. I don't even know if it is a male or a female. But I can see that humeri are partly orange and that the orange spot on the front is quite extensive and almost connected to the vertex (as said in
this description), so it is maybe closer to
C. nova ?
