Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Forest-fly ... who can help identifying it?

Hi everyone,
in August this year, I found this fly in a forest consisting of conifers as well as broad-leaved trees in Kassel (middle of Germany). The fly was sitting on a mushroom and measures about 9mm. I'd love to know what species it is as I have to do a collection for my studies of biology but wasn't too successful finding out. Is there anyone who could help me?

Obviously male of Suillia. Maybe S. pallida but the last pictures probably belongs to another species (crossveins not darkened).:(

No, the last picture shows the wing of exactly the same fly as shown before, for sure. Would you then still say it was Suillia pallida?

Hmm, HAve you preparated this wing in KOH or NAOH ???.
