Hi, I've found this copulating couple (~3 mm) on a wall 20200531 and I am not able to identify even the family. Chamaemyidae? Milichiidae?
White: wings, genae, several rings on tibiae and tarsi.
Black stripes on the head.
Red stripe on the eyes.
Unfortunately this is the only usable photo.

Does anyone know these flies?

Reminds me of Leptometopa but I can't see enough to be sure.

Thank you very much, John, that's an excellent clue, I'll check the net with the original and even at the first glimpse I think it may be L. latipes.
