Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Unknown Brachycera (28.03.20) --> Dolichopodidae, cf. Campsicnemus sp.

Hello,
a 3.5-4 mm fly from our housewall yesterday (northwest Germany). I don't even know the family. It superficiously resembles
Lonchoptera, but without the pointed wings. It also reminds me of some Anthomyzidae, but with the spiny legs of a small Scatophagidae. I'm confused... :S

Thanks, Roger! Very interesting. If a fly doesn't have a metallic shine, I forget that family :S. I also did not find a Dolichopodid so early in the year.
