Found on the seashore of Lodu, in the north of Corse, on August 6th, 2018. Are there many
Stratiomys sp. that live so close to the sea?

Stratiomys longicornis is known from Corsica, and is a regular inhabitant of saline pools beside the sea.
S. singularior is also known from saline pools, but I'm not sure whether it has been found on Corsica.
