Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Is it a fly?

Hi,
Can you help identify this insect? I originally thought it is a wasp but I think it have only two pair of wings and the antenna is short (fly like) so I started to get confuse is it a fly?

yes, it's a fly... Ulidiidae, --------- alceae (I don't remember the genus :( )

The weird swell abdomen and wasp eyes confused me a little. It's a female for sure since I caught it laying eggs (with cool telescopic oviscape) as you can see in the following picture (hard shoot, was too windy that day).
Is identification
Physiphora alceae is galley accurate or there are some resembler species?
