Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Very tiny Brachycera --> Ephydridae

Hello!

Another one from our house wall last night (Ostwestfalen/Germany). This one was only 1-1,5 mm (so no better pics technically possible). Is has a metallic shine like a Dolichopodid, but is not as slender.

Thanks! I should have taken that family into account, but all Ephydrids I have seen, yet, were not metallic...

Difficult to be sure, but it could be one of the Psilopa species
