I think, conical shape of abdomen indicates Eristalis pertinax male. But I'm no expert. Picture should better be posted in Syrphidae section.

This is not pertinax. By the look of the stigma and of what I can see of the shape and colors of the spots on the abdomen, this looks like a fresh male tenax to me.
