Hi,
based on the features provided, can the species be IDed? Found in a garden in Vienna
Could it be
Ochlerotatus?

Aedes s.l., but the cerci are rather short compared to those of
Ochlerotatus, which suggests
Dahliana geniculatus (confirmed by the lack of pale tarsal rings, together with the very distinctive dorsal thoracic pattern.
