Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Cylindromyia sp (pair in flight)

A pair of small flies in copula slowly drifted low among herbs, like Pipunculidae does (before coming to my computer that family was my thought). What Tachinidae have this behaviour?
Mid Sweden today.

It is a Cylindromyia.

Thankyou Theo, must be one of the very small (3-4mm).
They flew like this, with sudden small change of direction, at least for 5 minutes.
