Hi together,
yesterday, when mounting and IDing some bees & wasps, a flat fly joined me and landed in my hairs.
So I used the opportunity and mounted her also.
I guess, it's an
Ornithomya-species, but I'm not an expert on flies. Is there any key (pdf/in the www) available for IDing this group?
Fly is about 8 - 10 mm in size, is this already indicating
O. avicularia?
Thanks for your help,
Marc
