Hello!

No better pics possible... This fly from our house wall today (Ostwestfalen/Germany) was at most 1 mm long. Is it Philygria picta from Ephydridae? Thanks!

Yes this is Philygria picta. The silvery lines of the orbits continued on the dorsum are fairly distinctive.
