Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Agromyzidae? from Romania

Hi,

another small fly collected in 28.september.2007.
hilly area (~659m), size ~3mm, collected by sweeping the net thru vegetation. i think this is from Agromyzidae family.
photo taken thru microscope.

can be IDed furter?

This is barely a guess, but it could perhaps be Phytomyza fallaciosa Brischke 188. It's a common species in much of Europe with many generations through the year. Host plants are various Ranunculus species.
