Is it possible to id this fly? I was in doubt which family it was in. I received the suggestion Macquartia. Unfortunately all my photos are from the same angle. I have made some crops in order to get some detail better in view.

Yes, Macquartia it is, dispar or viridana.

As it is a male and the femora and second antennal segment appear black, shouldn't it be dispar? (according to the key)
Only 1 front femur visible here, but I have a photo of a nearby individual, that also shows the second femur.
Do you think that is correct?
