Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Empididae

This Empididae looks like Empis tessellata for the color but like Empis pennipes for the long proboscis and bristles on the legs. Thank you for your help.

It was in the south west of France at Lavaur (Tarn 81) 10 may 2018

Your beautiful Empididae is most probably the female of Empis (Empis) decora Meigen.
