Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Mosquitoe ID

Hi,

I have photographed what seems a mosquitoe to me, 20km west of Paris in the woods (November the 18th).
Rather small about 5-6mm long. I know the picture is not a good one for identification but has any of you any idea about the genus/species?

Family Chironomidae. Probably subfamily Chironominae.
